Big Truck Mural

Check out our new mural in the alley on Cherry Street, in between 4th and State. The mural is great take on our logo, with the coffee pouring into the cup on the back of our truck. Soon the public may be able to get "a cup for the road." We'll keep you posted with more details on that subject later.

Vince did a excellent job painting the mural. He finished it in time to welcome over 35 roasters from the northwest to our roastery for the spring Northwest Roasters Group meeting. We can only hope the weather will be a little more welcoming. I guess that's the price for living in the northwest; great coffee, bad weather.

Northwest Roaster's Group Meet!

Olympia Coffee Roasting Company to host the Northwest Roaster's Group "Spring" Meet next week. We are getting amped for it over here and it is just over a week away. The "keepsake" posters hit the printer's desk yesterday and will be done a few days before the event. I can't wait.

This is our first event hosting and in actuality it is co-hosted with Roast Magazine. At the even the NW artisan coffee roaster attendees will be fill their heads with an array of information at a number of event classes and various roasting & cupping exercises.

To top it all off some networking socials are planed. Opening night reception will be held at "The Mark" which I think is one of the premier evening hang outs in Oly. Saturday night we will top off a long day of activities with some gourmet eats at what I know is Olympia's best restaurant: Cicada!

Shout out to Cicada - Olympia Coffee Roasting Co. Customer & Best Restaraunt in Oly!

Hands down this is the best restaurant in Olympia. Billy and Lisa have turned this cute corner cafe into a great place with excellent atmosphere and even better food no matter which meal of the day you eat there. If that weren't enough they serve Olympia Coffee Roasting Company coffee and espresso. Co-Owner Lisa was a long time barista before taking a break and becoming restaurateur. She's getting back to her roots and the coffee will be served with much care.

Dinner is elegant and can be pricey but well worth the bread on any night. Breakfast and lunch are delicious and very reasonable. If you are in the area and are a Foodie or just love a great meal stop on by.
