Uganda White Nile and Cupping Room News
Already behind in the blogging ;-) Geez, it gets busy Huh?
Well the haps at the roastery is a new Coffee that Tim, has been playing with and will be our next coffee O' the month. Uganda White Nile. While I haven't spent much time with this coffee just yet, my take so far is that this is going to be another winner. It has been fun spending some time cupping these great coffees from Africa and I suspect we will spend a little more time on that continent.
Cupping room news for this coming week, is that Jennifer will start conducting weekly cuppings soon on Thursdays. I will post an update, as we get things together. Other than that, we will hang the new menu chalkboard this week and start working on shelves for the whole bean coffee.
Even bigger news, is that soon folks in Eugene will be able to purchase the Big Truck from the Market of Choice. So if you have people in Eugene, key them in that there is a taste of Olympia on the shelves ;-)

The Cupping Room weekly cuppings are going great. I just returned from my first cupping at The Cupping Room. We cupped some of the Uganda White Nile and got a sneak peak at April's coffee of the month, I definately got a hit of the black cherry notes. The coffee's are rotated each week so if you've already been, go again and try something new. If you haven't been yet, head down to The Cupping Room next Thursday at noon.
